The Freedom2doit program operates with an expressed interest and motivation toward assisting and improving children’s resources within our communities.
Our sponsorship and participation with an elite cycling team is motivated by our belief that the character and dedication required to compete at the top levels of cycling is an appropriate and exciting model that reflects both our goals and vision towards the betterment of children’s lives and the resources within their communities to facilitate these aims.
Creating relationships and establishing resources that are means towards these objectives are the paramount interest behind our involvement in cycling.
Join us in working towards promoting healthier and happier lifestyles for children everywhere.

Rigo Meza:

- 2003: Turned Pro with Schroeder Iron Pro Cycling Team.
- 2006: Won 5 Races.
- 2007: So Cal Cup Elite Men Overall Champion.
- 2007: California State Championship Road Race Elite Men State Champion.
Goals:
- As many team wins as possible.
- Win a National Race Calendar (NRC) event.
- Win a stage race: San Dimas or Murrieta.
- Repeat So Cal Cup championship.
- Repeat California State Road Race Championship.
Future Goals:
- Own a bicycle shop one day.
- Promote youth cycling in communities everywhere.
- Manage a professional cycling team or help to manage a junior development cycling team.

- 2007: 5th, Glendale Crit., Elite Men.
- 2007: 10th, California State Championship Elite Men’s Road Race.
- 2007: A handful of gutty top ten and twenty performances in support of my team mates.
Goals:
- Win as many races as possible.
- Help my team mates achieve good results.
- Win a SCNCA major classic event.
- Help the juniors in our club develop into better cyclists.

- Participated in 5 World Championship Road Race Events: 1994 (26th); 1995 (21st); 1997 (12th); 1998 (103rd); 1999 (DNF).
- Pan American Championships: 1991(5th).
- Central American Games: 1998 (4th).
- Tour of Costa Rica, 4 stage wins.
- Vuelta Chica A Guatamala 1993-96: Multiple stage and classification wins, multiple team podiums.
- 6 years racing professionally in Italy.
- 1997-99: Spoires Cucine (ITA) (20 victories, a team record).
- 2000-2002: Team Colpack (ITA) 2002 Giro D’Italia.
- 2003: Tour of Redlands (USA) Sprint Champion, Vuelta de las Americas (MEX) Sprint Champion.
- 2006: Tour of California, Member Mexican National Team.
Goals:
- Win as many races as possible.
- High Ranking/Win So Cal Cup.
- Win Manhattan Beach Grand Prix.
- Fight out races NRC events against big domestic squads.
Future Goals:
- In the future I’d like to manage a team of young racers, kids, so that I can help them realize their dreams the same way I did with my cycling career.
